Photo blog?

Are you starting to think this is some kind of photo or design blog? What can I say? I'm broadening my hobbies!

A few photoshop layers and brushes later and you might end up with something like this:

I know it doesn't look "authentically" old but think it has a little more vavavoom.

UPDATE: meant to thank Dooce for the link to these cool brushes

1 - I like the new version, but I really dig the original. That focused lighting is intense and perfectly placed. You're a whiz, kid! (Comment this)

2 - I like the original, too; the way the light hits that central cluster is powerful, and gives the image a mesmerizing feel. I could literally stare at it for several minutes. Then again, nature fascinates me and there are several things that I could stare at for extended lengths of time, including goldfish and lit candles and a starry black sky... but I digress.

Good for you re:using and developing your Photoshop skills! It is a great skill to have (my Hubbs abuses his limited knowledge to hijack photos) and one that I'd like to pick up one day, too! (Comment this)
