Oh the wilds of washington! It's 7am and it's still really dark and I'm exceptionally blurry. Ruby is happily entranced by spongebob this morning so I'll drop you a quick note to say travel went just peachy. No matter how you slice it, it was a looooong day but we made it intact. Uncle James picked us up bearing sippy cups of milk and little bags of cheerios and Ruby passed out for the last car-leg home.
Yesterday we took her and her cousin Emma to what amounts to a Habitrail for kids. Remember habitrails for hamsters? little tubes that looped about and the little fat guys would waddle there way through? I followed Ruby along many of the trails bonking my head once and squealing a few times on one very fast slide. It was a blast.
I think today will be the day we get unjetlegged and Ruby really gets her groove on. I had underestimated the effect of the time change and new surroundings. Lessons learned, eh?
Happy Christmas eve, hope this finds you in a warm cozy place!

I miss you guys, but hope you have a good time in Washington ( the other one.)
Merry Christmas to all, and much love!
